Gail Inglis joined Milton Toastmaster
Club in September 2003. She attended her first meeting with her daughter.
At the end of the summer her daughter returned to university and Gail
continued with her Toastmaster experience.
She has been Club Vice President
of Education for 2 years, Club Treasurer and in the 2007-2008 year she
was Club President, Area Governor and mentored a newly formed club.
She earned her Distinguished Toastmaster Award (DTM) in 2008. In 2008-2009
she was Division B Marketing Ambassador and is presently Division B
Governor. During her Toastmaster journey she has been Signage Chair
for the District 60 Spring Conference in 2007 and the Hospitality Chair
for the District 86 Spring Conference.
Gail has been married to her
husband Jim for 37 years and has one daughter Jennifer. They reside
in Milton.
Gail graduated from the University
of Guelph with a BHSc. degree. Upon graduating she taught Family Studies
and English at Milton District High School.
Her interests include reading, gardening, swimming, sewing, quilting and she is a certified rug hooking teacher. She enjoys traveling and watching “Dancing with the Stars” with her family.
